I spend quite a bit of my time using Microsoft PowerPoint as it's really the only cross-platform programme that will do this particular job. It allows for instant graphics to be applied with some ease, the problem being (and the fun begins) when you have to animate the presentation. Whilst I haven't had any tutoring for PowerPoint, I have picked up all the skills through practise and it certainly helps to have experience with the likes of Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator to compliment it.

The PowerPoint creative design is a slide I have put together for myself and whilst the image here is static the presentation one is animated. With names dropping down and the luggage label on the right appears between the sheet of metal and the mauve background. Quite tricky to do and then to animate as it involves layering to achieve the effect. The word " Creative" is punched from the metal base in Photoshop to create a 3D effect, also the curve to the right was done in a similar way.
