PowerPoint - Global Seismic Faults
PowerPoint - Global Seismic Faults

This particular slide is more the standard slide that you would produce within most PowerPoint presentations. It revolves in this instance around a single global map. The vector map itself was sourced online from any amount of free download sites for this type of graphic. I then took it into Illustrator to redefine the country boundries and to highlight the areas I needed to display in different colours. I saved it off as a mid-range compressed jpeg, it's worth mentioning that the size of each piece you import into PowerPoint is critical to the overall document size. So the larger the image you bring in, the larger the final presentation will be, so you need to keep the image sizes to a minimum without losing the clarity of the image. Once the image was brought in, then all the text boxes were applied with their connectors (arrows) and donut rings for the earthquake zone. The slide was animated, so that the donuts pulsed indicating a tremor area, simple but effective.

It's hard to see on here as all of the detail is quite small, but if you would like to see a larger picture of this, then please contact me from the 'Contact us' drop down menu. I would be happy to send the larger image to you. I am always very keen to accept new commissions for PowerPoint presentation designing, (of course that depends on my current workloads), but please drop me a line via the 'Contact us' button above to discuss your possible needs.
