"Lindisfarne Maelstrom," is a contemporary oil painted landscape of a view towards an ethereal like 'Holy island' at Lindisfarne. With an almost fire and brimstone feel, set within a tempestuous sky engulfing the view, the light always shines through, even on the darkest of days. I painted the scene in cool and warm tones of blues and orange.
