"Stormy Weather" is a slightly abstract acrylic seascape painted entirely with a palette knife, of a brooding, ominous coastal scene full of movement colour and above all texture. The texture has been added at the gesso stage to build the canvas up. I used nothing as a reference point in terms of ideas etc - it was one of those moments, palette knife in hand and away I went, hope you like the result?
