As is pretty evident by now I do love drawing birds, there's just so much variety across so many species. I have mentioned before about how much importance I place upon drawing as it is always central to my art. It's strange that if you haven't been drawing for a while you become out of practice, so you need to keep doing it to keep your ability up, I guess, just like most things.

The assortment of sketched birds are all birds that live or feed around water, like the Shelduck or the Grey Heron. Drawn in very soft pencils going as soft as 5 or 6B on to Cartridge paper, they just are for the enjoyment of drawing and nothing more.
