"Pastels" are pure graphical illustration, a blend of illustration with that of graphic design to compliment each other (hopefully). These were just simple ideas I had for four greetings/message cards that had a very direct message to the recipient. Simple single word typography using a font that has some movement and easily understandable illustrations/icons. I've chosen colours that harmonise, so from a retail shelving point of view and point of sale it creates brand unity. The small graphics were the first ideas I had, hand drawn quickly, inked in and scanned into the computer for the final vector work.
