I have for as long as I can remember kept a sketchbook, as an artist & illustrator you are always evolving and coming up with new thoughts & ideas, at some point these have to be put down onto something for future reference. However, it would be so easy if you had your sketchbook with you at all times, this is where I fail miserably! So, in desperation I put things down onto anything I can lay my hands on at the time and paste them into my sketchbooks at a later date. I haphazardly scribble on odd little pieces of paper, serviettes, post-it notes, the back of shopping lists, newspapers, anything to hand really, the list of my pencil and pen scribblings is endless. I know, I should be more organised, but, that definitely takes away some of the fun in it for me. Here are one or two of my 'assembled' pages to look like I know they should do.
